Yes, 

Heirloom rangers can reproduce naturally and have their own chicks. Many people believe that Cornish Rocks and other hybrids cannot reproduce, but if fed properly- they actually can, but will have less consistency in their progeny (offspring).

We will have updated information on this soon… they are faster than most heritage breeds, but slower than the Cornish Rock. We would consider them in the “slow-growth broiler” category alongside Bresse, Jersey Giants, and most Rangers.

Yes, 

the Heirloom Ranger hens will perform similarly to the males- many people will use them for eggs, but can use them for butchering. 

The perfect feeding system for the Heirloom Ranger would be having the pullets on a lower/conventional protein diet (for egg production once mature), and having the males on a high protein, meat-bird diet to be butchered earlier. Both males and females do well on pasture or pasture confinement (chicken tractors). 

Yes, many conventional meat birds can’t be raised in high altitude areas due to a lack of oxygen, but any slow-growth meat bird (like our Heirloom Rangers) do well in mountainous environments.
